A shocking case has been reported on Friday by the police in Shamli district, Uttar Pradesh in which a 23-year-old alleges that she was raped by the accused and his brothers in a hotel room, later she was blackmailed to marry the man as they filmed the whole crime.
According to reports, the victim has told the cops that she was raped by a man she was befriended on Facebook. She also said that she was raped by his brothers also in a hotel room she was kept in. The accused reportedly filmed the act and used it to blackmail her into marrying him.
The victim also claimed that she was blackmailed to marry the accused man who had not revealed his religious identity.
Police later identified the accuse as Sonu and filed a case against him and his 10 family members under various sections of Indian Penal Code (IPC) as ordered by Shamli Superintendent of Police Ajay Pandey based on the 23-year-old woman’s complaint.
Earlier, in a shocking incident reported, a 64-year-old priest was found hanging from a pole near a temple in Rae Bareli. Deceased Swami Premdas, a priest of Ram Janki temple in Baba ka Purva, was killed allegedly by four people on Tuesday night.
Based on a complaint of Mahant Mauni Baba, a case was registered against four people, including Bajinath Maurya who was involved in a dispute over possession of land belonging to the temple.
