In a bizarre incident, a lover who was upset with his ex-girlfriend as she was not talking to him for the past two years, the man bit her nose off when she was returning after attending nature’s call in Chandkheda area of the city.
The woman, Manju Parmar (24) stated in the FIR filed with the police that she belongs to Kharadiwala Dabachiya village of Kherwada taluka in Udaipur district of Rajasthan. When she was at her village, she was in a relationship with a man, Keshavlal Bodat. She stopped talking to him and later shifted to her sister’s place two years go in Chandkheda. She began earning as a daily wager there.
At the construction site where the complaint worked, there was a friend of the accused who also worked there. He told the accused about the victim’s whereabouts. On April 12 when she was returning after attending nature’s call, the accused turned up and held her. When she told him that she didn’t want to be in a relationship with him, he became furious and bit her nose.
The victim was badly injured and she cried for help and other laborers came to her rescue. The accused went absconding and the victim was rushed to a private hospital. Following which she filed an FIR with the Chandkheda police against the accused of causing her injury.
