In a shocking incident reported, a 16-year-old class 11 student was allegedly raped by a 20-year-old man. The accused forced himself on the 16-year-old and sexually abused her when she had gone to use the toilet in Pataudi village at around 5 AM on Thursday morning.
According to the reports, the girls mother filled a police complaint claiming that that when her daughter did not return for a long time, she went to check on her and caught the accused. She had picked up a wooden stick to beat him, however, the accused managed to escape. He even threatened the girl’s mother before he fled.
The police said that the girl’s mother alleged that the accused used to stalk her daughter when she used to board an autorickshaw to go to school.

Reportedly, the accused has been traced but he has not been arrested yet. However a case has been registered against the accused under Section 6 (punishment of aggravated penetrative sexual assault) of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and Section 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code at women’s police station (Manesar).
