Sunil Basura, 20-year-old serial rapist-murderer was arrested on Monday in Gurugram of Haryana. Apart from having had a modus operandi, Basura also had a ‘lucky’ blue shirt that he used to wore during committing the crime. Sunil also asserted that he was caught as he was not wearing his lucky blue shirt.
During the investigation, Sunil Basura stated to the police that he used to lure a minor girl with a 10 rupees note or a chocolate and further took her to an isolated place, where he used to physically assault girl brutally.
He further stated, how he murdered 3 girls in Gurugram between 2016-18 and confessed having killed after raping as many as 6 minors in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Delhi states.
