Dantewada: DD News Lighting Assistant Mor Mukut Sharma recorded his video in the mid of the gunfight between the Naxalites and army in Dantewada, Chhatisgarh. DD News crew was attacked by Naxalite.
Sharma accompanied the reporting team to cover Chhattisgarh election survived with the reporter Dheeraj Kumar while the Camera person Achyuta Nanda Sahu died in the attack.
Sharma made a video while the entire DD News crew was under the Maoist attack. The brave heart has not only recorded the live incident of the Naxal attack but also recorded a heartfelt message to his mother.
“Terrorists have attacked us. We are in Dantewada. We have come to cover the election. We were on our way along with the army. Suddenly Naxalites surrounded us. Mother if I remain alive, will be God’s grace. Mother, I love you. I may lose my life. Conditions are not right. I am not afraid to die. I have no fear of death now. It is getting difficult to survive. Six to seven army jawans are with us. We are being surrounded by all sides.”
