IIFA Awards 2020 postponed due to Coronavirus

The International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Award ceremony was going to held in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh for the very first time but after consulting the state government a decision had been taken and due to the widespread of Coronavirus, the IIFA management and stakeholders have decided to postpone it.

The Madhya Pradesh government was busy in the preparations for IIFA Awards, but the deadly coronavirus, which has spread in large parts of the world, is also showing the impact on it, due to the reason of Coronavirus scare the mega event of Bollywood IIFA Awards 2020 has been postponed.

The International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Award ceremony was going to held in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh for the very first time but after consulting the state government a decision had been taken and due to the widespread of Coronavirus, the IIFA management and stakeholders have decided to postpone it.

The date and plans for hosting IIFA Awards in Madhya Pradesh will be announced at the earliest.

The IIFA Award ceremony committee has shown concern towards the health and safety of IIFA’s fans and the general community at large.

In the meantime, the number of patients infected with coronavirus in the country is constantly increasing. Coronavirus has been confirmed in another person in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. With this, the virus has been confirmed in a total of 30 people in the country so far, out of which three patients have recovered and gone home.
