Lok Sabha Election Exit Polls 2024: In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, most major pollsters are predicting a massive victory for the BJP-led NDA, but one exit poll suggests a different outcome for the Congress-led INDIA coalition.
According to DB Live, a digital channel of the Deshbandhu newspaper, the INDIA bloc may surpass the majority mark while the NDA might fall short.
The NDA is likely to receive 207-241 seats, while INDIA is likely to win between 255-290 seats, according to the Deshbandhu Exit Poll.
Seat share by state
In Uttar Pradesh, the poll predicted a close contest, with 46-48 seats for the NDA and 32-34 seats for the INDIA bloc, which includes the Samajwadi Party and Congress.
Maharashtra’s exit poll predicts 28-30 seats for MVA (INDIA) and 18-20 seats for Mahayuti (NDA). For Karnataka, the poll predicts 18-20 seats for Congress, while the BJP and JD(S) alliance is predicted to win 8-10 seats.
According to DB Live, the BJP is expected to win 24-26 seats in Bihar, compared with 14-16 seats for the NDA in Madhya Pradesh.

As per exit polls, the Mamata Banerjee-led TMC will win 26-28 seats in West Bengal, while the BJP will win 11-13 seats. In Rajasthan, the BJP will win 17-19 seats and the INDIA bloc will win 6-8 seats.
Congress leader Luv Dutta confidently announced, “These are the exact numbers you will see on 4th June. This exit poll will prove true. INDI Alliance will form the government.”
NDA Victory Predicted by Major Exit Polls
The majority of exit polls released in the evening contradicted the INDIA bloc parties’ claim of winning at least 295 seats, predicting a massive victory for the BJP-led NDA.
In 2019, all major polls predicted a clear majority for the Bharatiya Janata Party, surpassing its previous tally of 303 seats.
In the event that the exit polls are accurate, the BJP will win its biggest Lok Sabha victory since 1980.
DB Live’s poll stands out for predicting opposite results. It will be interesting to see which poll is closest to the actual outcome on June 4.
