Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a mega congregation of Bharatiya Janata Party workers at the Mahakumbh with BJP President Amit Shah in the poll-bound Madhya Pradesh. The event is named as ‘Karyakarta Mahakumbh’ which is organised to mark the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya. The Mahakumbh is said to be the ‘world’s largest congregation of political workers’ organised at Jamboree Maidan in the BHEL locality.
BJP’s Karyakarta Mahakumbh is trending on Twitter under the hashtag of #ChoronKaMahakumbh (Mahakumbh of thieves). Here Congress leaders and Congress supporters are campaigning against the scams and corruption deals by Modi government.

The tweets are about the scams including Rafale Deal, Vayapam Scam, illegal mining, corruption, rape, sex racket, and other scams.
BJP workers from around 65,000 polling booths are expected to participate in the programme. Nine special trains from different parts of the state have been booked by the party to bring in the BJP workers to attend the event. The government has also deployed around 22 senior IPS officers to coordinate with the security arrangements in the programme.
