Kishanganj Assembly Constituency 2025: Kishanganj constituency of Bihar is located in the Seemanchal area of Bihar, includes Kishanganj municipality, and parts of the Kishanganj block, and the whole of the Pothiya community development block. It was formed in 1951, is a normal/categorized seat, and belongs to the Kishanganj Lok Sabha seat.

He defeated the BJP candidate Sweety Singh, who got 59,697 votes (33.62%) by a small margin. Other candidates were Qamrul Hoda of AIMIM, who received 41,904 votes (23.6%), and others.
The socio-economic problems of the area along with the demographic makeup are the main factors behind the local political scenario, with the Muslim community influencing the voting pattern coming out strong.
