Up and up and up! no it is not the lyrics of Coldplay song but is is the ticket prices of Coldplay’s India gig that just escalated to ₹5 lakhs.
A good news for all Coldplay fans- the band IS coming to India in November to perform its debut gig. If reports from Mid-Day are to be believed then, Coldplay will perform in Mumbai on November 19.
Excited much? Well, the glitch here is that the ticket prices for their concert range from
₹25,000 to 5 lakhs. According to a report on Bollywoodhungama, the official tickets will go live on Book My Show on September 12 next week and prices start from ₹25,000 to ₹5 lakh a ticket.
The event will be attended by Bollywood celebs like like Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, AR Rahman, Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, among others.
The good part is, apparently there is a way you can get a free ticket to the concert. This concert is a part of Chris Martin’s Global Citizen Festival, created to mark the establishment of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. And by doing certain ‘social actions’, which haven’t been confirmed yet, you might be able to get some free tickets for yourself.
