National Ice Cream for Breakfast Day 2024 (US) Activities and Dates

National Ice Cream for Breakfast Day 2024 (US): National Ice Cream for Breakfast Day greetings! Surprisingly, this holiday was created amid the winter in New York. The day, which was established in the 1960s (obviously due to its trendy concept), provides additional evidence that ice cream can be enjoyed throughout the year, every day, and on any occasion. Therefore, indulge in whatever you desire on the first Saturday of February. Before 11:30. We shall not pass judgment.

Recipe Authentic: Breakfast Banana Split

Time for Preparation: 10 minutes

Number of servings: 1-2

Comprising ingredients

  • 1 pint of Chunky Monkey ice cream by Ben & Jerry’s
  • Two tablespoons of almonds, sliced
  • Two reheated frozen waffles
  • One banana
  • One-half cup brown sugar
  • Margarite-Free Butter
  • Cranberry Syrup

Travel Instructions

  1. Chop the peeled banana into thick, circular segments. Lightly dust each slice of banana with a sprinkle of brown sugar.
Melt the butter in a nonstick skillet of medium size over medium-high heat. Combine the banana segments with the residual brown sugar.
  2. Brown the bananas on the underside until golden brown, which should take about four to five minutes. After flipping the bananas gently to brown the other side (approximately 1 minute), set them aside immediately on a plate.
  3. Toast frozen waffles until golden brown in a toaster or toaster oven.
  4. On its side, position the pint of Ben & Jerry’s Chunky Monkey ice cream. Using a large chef’s knife or serrated knife, cut through the pint of ice cream to within one inch of the cap. Make a second incision about 2 inches below the first cut to create a thick, circular ice cream slice that keeps its packaging intact.
  5. Toast one waffle with the ice cream segment while unwrapping the carton containing the ice cream.
  6. Drizzle the chop syrup on top of the ice cream, with a layer of caramelized bananas placed over it. Sprinkle almond slices on top of the nectar.
  7. On top, place the second waffle from the toaster to create a brunch sandwich: your gratitude, sir.
