Killed HDFC Bank VP for money, was under pressure to pay bike EMI, says accused

In a high profile murder case, self-confession of the accused Sarfaraz Sheikh reveals the reason of murder of the Siddharth Singhvi, vice president of HDFC bank. Shaikh confessed to police when questioned and claimed his responsibility. The accused has confessed to his crime before the metropolitan magistrate at Bohiwada, Mumbai.

The victim is a young cab driver of 20 years of age. In his confession statement, he took the sole responsibility. The body of missing bank executive was recovered on Monday.

The 39-year-old bank executive was reported missing on September 5. The complaint of missing was registered in NM Joshi Marg police station and the matter was being investigated. Sanghvi was reported missing from his Kamla Mills office. The police also affirmed that the plan was laid by one of his colleagues, who was jealous of his promotion.
