Postmortem reports of ND Tiwari’s son reveal ‘unnatural death’; Case registered under IPC Sec-302

Going by the media reports, postmortem report of late ND Tiwari’s son Rohit Shekhar Tiwari reveals ‘unnatural death’. Earlier reports had claimed heart attack to be the cause.

A case has been registered under section 302 of the IPC (murder case) against unknown persons.

Rohit Shekhar Tiwari was brought dead to a hospital in the national capital on April 16. Confirming his demise, DCP South Delhi Vijay Kumar had issued a statement saying, “Rohit Shekhar Tiwari, son of late former Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand CM ND Tiwari, has been brought dead to Max Saket hospital. Further details are awaited.”

Rohit Shekhar was the biological son of ND Tiwari and Ujjwala Sharma, whom Tiwari married in 2014.

On May 29, 2013, Tiwari had given his blood sample for a DNA test following a Supreme Court’s order, after repeatedly contesting against undergoing the test on various grounds.
