Sawan 2021 Start Date and End Date : The month of Shravan begins after the month of Ashadha ends. The month of Shravan is called the month of Sawan. According to the Hindu calendar, the month of Ashadha is considered as the fourth month and the month of Sawan is considered as the fifth month. The month of Sawan is considered to be one of the best months for worship.

It is believed that worshipping Lord Shiva every Monday during the Sawan month brings prosperity and good life. The devotees of Lord Shiva also experience a Kavar Yatra to Haridwar during this month of Sawan.

Sawan Month Date 2021:

As per the Hindi Calendar, the Shravan month or the Sawan month comes after the Aashad month. While this year, the Aashad month is ending on 24th July, and the Shravan or the Sawan month will commence on 25th July until 22nd August.

Monday fasting schedule during Sawan month (Sawan Somvar vrat 2021 date):

First Sawan Monday fast is on 26th July

Second Sawan Monday fast is on 2nd August

Third Sawan Monday fast is on 9th August

Fourth Sawan Sawan Monday fast is on 16th August

Significance of the Sawan Month 2021:

The month of Sawan as per the Hindu Mythology is of great significance, as it is believed that all the wishes made by the devotees are fulfilled by Lord Shiva, and fasting on Mondays is considered even more auspicious.

It is popularly said that all the difficulties in marriages are solved by worshiping Lord Shiva during this month, and worshipping Lord Shiva also leads us to attain Moksha after death.
