Shivam Mavi sold to Gujarat Titans for Rs 6 crore in IPL 2023 Auction

Gujarat Titans signed Shivam Mavi for Rs. 6 crore at the IPL 2023 auction in Kochi on Friday.

Mavi’s starting price was Rs. 40 lakh, the highest for an uncapped Indian player. The bidding for him has begun with the Kolkata Knight Riders and the Gujarat Titans.

The Delhi Capitals later entered the bidding war after bids exceeded Rs. 3 crores, eventually signing for Rs. 6 crore.

Mavi made his IPL debut in 2018 for Knight Riders, appearing in 32 games. He has 30 wickets at an 8.71 economy rate.
