“One household in Chandigarh ordered 70 biryanis in one-go; it seems they were already celebrating,” according to the organization. Furthermore, in excess of one lakh chilled beverages were ordered by Indians throughout the match. “A total of 8,504 units of green lay’s and 10,916 units of blue lay’s (chips) were ordered today,” “Blue is obviously the victor in this as well,” Swiggy wrote on X.

The company further added: “3,509 condoms ordered, some players are playing off the pitch today”. In the eagerly awaited match held in front of over one million spectators at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, India bowled Pakistan out for 191 runs before coasting to a seven-wicket triumph. India were in a precarious position as Pakistan amassed 155-2 while India bowled first on a sluggish pitch with variable bounce. Pakistan’s captain Babar Azam had amassed fifty runs, and wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan was approaching fifty. However, the dismissal of Azam to Mohammed Siraj instigated a collapse in Pakistan’s batting, as the team lost eight wickets for 36 runs in the following thirteen overs, reaching 191 in 42.5 overs. Nasser Hussain stated on air that “a collapse is something only the Pakistan team can manufacture” due to the innings’s lack of sixes from every batter.
