At least three army soldiers have been injured as a group of terrorists stormed into an army camp in Nagrota on the outskirts of Jammu on Tuesday at around 5: 30 am.
As per media reports, three terrorists have targeted a military location near White Knight Corps in Nagrota and threw grenade at the Army unit stationed there.
A terrorist has been killed in the ongoing encounter.
The administration has ordered shutting down of schools in Nagrota after the exchange of fire between army& terrorists took place.
According to an Indian Express report, terrorists are believed to be holed up inside army officer’s mess.
Army officials confirmed that terrorists had entered the premises of 166 army unit stationed at Nagrota-based 16 Corps headquarters.
The area has been cordoned off and no vehicle is being allowed to ply on the road passing outside the 16 Corps headquarters. Reinforcements of police and paramilitary forces have also been moved in. All entry points to Jammu city have been sealed as a precautionary measure, India Today reported.
