Su Ayhan, a 26-year-old contestant on Turkish version of ‘Kon Banega Crorepati’ was recently bashed by the social media over using two lifelines to answer the question – where is the Great Wall of China?
Su Ayhan, a 26-year-old economics graduate from Istanbul, Turkey appeared on an episode of “Who Wants to be a Millionaire?”. Ayhan said that she knew the where the historical place was but still decided to use one of her lifelines to “Ask the Audience.” Surprisingly, only 51% of the audience members answered correctly while the rest chose the other options — India, South Korea, and Japan, which made her loose confidence even after knowing the correct answer.
Trying to salvage this lack of a correct answer, Ayhan went with phoning a friend – using her second lifeline to get the right answer. Even though Ayhan got this answer correctly and was eliminated on the next one, she still became laughing stock when the episode aired.

Many netizens were quick to criticise Ayhan’s lack of knowledge about the location of the Great Wall of China. Many people pin-pointed the contestant by saying ‘what kind of education system do you have in Turkey?’
