The abortion legislation and viability criteria of Ohio

Abortion is legal in Ohio until the fetus reaches viability, which is defined as the capacity of the fetus to sustain life outside the uterus with medical assistance.
A recent referendum in the state endorsed the inclusion of abortion rights in its constitution; however, legislators have indicated their intention to challenge this ruling. The United States Attorney’s Office accused Durant on July 5.
In determining sentencing, the court will consider a variety of factors in her case, such as her prior record, role in the offense, and the character of the violations. The sentencing hearing is slated for April 9, 2024, during which she will be subject to a maximum prison term of one year.
HerChoice released a statement in which it expressed appreciation to law enforcement for their prompt response to the vandalism.
The clinic emphasized its dedication to offering a tranquil environment for women confronting pregnancy decisions, guaranteeing their access to vital information and assistance throughout these pivotal periods.
