Xiaomi is all set to launch the Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 7 pro and the Redmi Go smartphones in India. Redmi’s flagship Note 7 features a 48MP dual camera with a 5MP sensor at the rear of the phone. The phone was earlier expected to have a release on February 12 in India which is not the case now. The smartphone will launch in the first quarter of the year.

According to Indian tipster, Ishan Agarwal in partnership with Mysmartprice, the Redmi Note 7 will be available in two variants in India. The base variant of the Redmi Note 7 will be powered by 3GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage. The higher-spec model of the Redmi Note 7 will be powered by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory.

The post revealing the details of the India variants of the Redmi Note 7 notes, “Here are the Redmi Phones that will launch in India. These are the Redmi Go variants and Redmi Note 7 which will definitely be available in the country. More variants may launch.” This means, besides the 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM model there could be a 6GB RAM and 64GB storage model of the phone coming to India as well.

The Redmi Note 7 gets a 6.3-inch display with an All Display screen on the front and a glass back with a dual-lens camera mounted alongside fingerprint scanner. The screen resolution of Redmi Note 7 is 1080 x 2340 pixels, 19.5:9. The Redmi Note 7 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset.

The Note 7 gets a dual camera lens setup of 48-megapixel rear camera with f/1.8 and a 5MP depth sensor with f/2.4. The phone also gets a 13MP HDR front camera. The Redmi Note 7 runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box.

The Redmi Note 7 is stuffed with a non-removable Li-Po 4000mAh battery having a battery life of 108 hours as per the reports with additional support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0 support for fast charging. The smartphone gets a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Redmi Note 7 will be available in Black, Blue, and Red colour in India.

The Redmi Go was unveiled recently and is Redmi’s first ever smartphone which comes under the Android Go program. The Redmi Go will be available in India in only a single variant – 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The Redmi Go runs on Google’s Android 8.1 Oreo (Go Edition) and sports a 5-inch HD display with 720p high resolution.

Redmi Go is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor, up to 1.4 GHz. Redmi Go is packed with a durable battery life of 3000mAh. The phone features an 8MP rear camera with LED Flash and a 5MP front camera. The Go will be made available in three colours, similar to the Redmi Note 7 – Black, Blue, and Red.
