Due to the long hours of fasting, you are more likely to feel fatigued and dehydrated throughout the day. Furthermore, skipping Suhoor can lead to excess eating at Iftar, which can lead to weight gain.

Monitor your blood sugar levels

The most common side effects of fasting are dehydration, low blood sugar levels (hypoglycemic events), and high blood sugar levels (hyperglycemic events). To keep your body healthy, eat foods high in protein, vitamins, nutrients, and complex carbs. Avoid foods high in oil and fried foods. An elevated oil content in foods can constrict blood vessels and make you sleepy during the day, according to a recent study.

Hydrate your body properly

A fasting tip that you should follow is to stay hydrated. Dehydration can cause headaches, dizziness, and mood disorders, among other health issues. To ensure that your body is meeting its fluid requirements, you should consume eight glasses of mineral water each day, or 2-3 litres for an adult.
