Bengaluru: About 600 people travelling from abroad under surveillance amidst COVID19 lockdown

Around 600 people have been under the surveillance of Dakshin Kannada police as they travelled from abroad in wake of coronavirus pandemic. Its a measure taken up by police to cut down the spread of COVID-19, mentions, Policeman BM Laxmi Prasad.

The Policemen are visiting the houses of the people concerned, they are under strict surveillance and are currently under home quarantine for 14 days.

The police have also asked the locals to immediately inform the authorities in case the infected people violate the quarantine orders.

While the police issued their statement to media, they also state that all the borders with other states have been sealed to cut off COVID-19 infections if they seek entry from other spaces.

A lot of efforts have been made to cut down the virus at the source. The police officials also state that they have sealed off borders with Kerala to stop the spread of COVID19N virus.
