Triumph Tiger Sport 800 launch: People who love bikes and those who want the perfect mix of power, style and comfort will be soon getting a new option. Triumph is set to launch the Tiger Sport 800 in India by December 2025.

Design and Features

The Tiger Sport 800 stands out with an aggressive and aerodynamic design. It has dual LED headlights, a sporty windscreen, and sharp body lines that make it look bold on the road. The wide handlebars and upright seating position will be giving comfort even on long rides.

The seats on the other hnd are designed so the rider does not get tired, making it perfect for both sport and touring. The bike also has modern features like a full-color TFT display, cruise control, traction control, ride-by-wire throttle, USB charging port, and under-seat storage. Its LED lighting system improves visibility and also adding safety to style.

Engine and Performance

The Tiger Sport 800 has a 798cc engine with 3 cylinders that is liquid-cooled. It makes 95 horsepower and 79 Nm of torque. The 6-speed gearbox with slipper clutch makes shifting gears easy and smooth. The bike has different riding modes like Road, Rain, and Sport, so the rider can choose how it feels on different roads. It runs fast, has strong power, and can handle city streets, highways, and some easy off-road paths.

The bike rides well because it is light and has good suspension. The front forks can be adjusted and the rear has a monoshock. Its tires can work on many surfaces, and the high ground clearance helps it go over bumps easily.

The braking system with dual front discs nad a single rear disc and ABS gives strong and confident stopping power.

Price

The Tiger Sport 800 gives a mileage of around 16-18 kmpl, which is ideal for long touring rides without frequent fuel stops. Its ex-showroom price in India is expected between Rs 11 to 12 lakh, depending on the city and state taxes. In Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore the price may start at Rs 11 lakh.

In the Indian market the Tiger Sport 800 will have to face compititors like the Honda CBR650R, Triumph Daytona 660, Honda CB650R, and Yamaha YZF-R7, which is also launching in December 2025. Globally, it competes with motorcycles like the BMW F850GS and Ducati Multistrada V2.
