The Delhi BJP harshly criticised Delhi’s Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal over the issue of water supply in the capital, stating that neighbouring state Haryana has been providing more water to Delhi.

Delhi BJP’s chief Manoj Tiwari said in a statement that “Kejriwal ji is a liar. He speaks a lie with such a confidence that people believe it as truth”.

Referring to an RTI (Rght To Information) reply, Manoj Tiwari said that the Haryana government, which provides water to Haiderpur, Iradat Nagar, Bawana water treatment plants, gave 5.09 lakh million litres of water in 2015, 5.46 lakh million litres in 2016, and 5.57 lakh million litres in 2017. In 2018 till April, these water treatment plants had received 1.59 lakh million litres already.

He accused CM Kejriwal for cheating the citizens and being involved with the tanker mafia.

Tiwari further slammed the AAP  (Aam Aadmi Party) leader Kejriwal for increasing fixed charges on electricity consumption.

‘Water and electricity crises in Delhi has been created by Aam Aadmi Party government. The government is visionless’, remarked Tiwari.
