The ruling Telugu Desam Party (TDP) on Saturday released its manifesto for the upcoming polls scheduled for April 11. The chief minister and TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu in the manifesto, touched upon all sections of society. Naidu while releasing the manifesto said it was a vision document for all round development of the state.

Naidu said while Congress chief Rahul Gandhi promised Rs 72,000 per annum to each poor family, his government, if voted back to power, would be giving out Rs 2 lakh to each family every year.

The TDP promised to continue the Centre’s PM Kisan Samman scheme with a matching grant from the state. The ruling party, hoping for a comeback, announced Rs, 5,000 crore in stabilization funds for farmers while it promised “Annadatha Sukhibhava” scheme for farmers under which each farmer will get Rs 15,000 per year as investment support. TDP also announced interest-free loans without any cap for farmers.

Touching upon backward classes, Naidu promised to set up BC Bank with Rs 10000 crore fund. He promised incentives for SC, ST, BC and minorities for setting up of businesses. He promised Rs 10000 to weavers, free health insurance and marketing fund with Rs 250 crore. Further extending benefits to the farmers in agriculture and allied sectors, he promised 75 per cent subsidy for purchasing animals and also on fodder.

Announcing universal health for all, Naidu announced free health care for all families who were having income below income tax limit.
