If you are thinking of creating a pin for google account it should be of good length as it is used to verify your identity when you log in. Usually, your google account pin is different from other Google products like google ads, google voice or google pay.

Sometimes Google will ask you for your pin when you are trying to purchase something or setting up a device. However, creating a Google pin is quite simple.

Check out the steps below to learn how to create a google pin:

  • Step 1: Open the PIN section of your Google Account
  • Step 2: You may have to sign in.
  • Step 3: Select Create a PIN.
  • Step 4: Choose a strong PIN, and follow the steps on the screen.
  • Step 5: Create a unique pin.
  • Step 6: Select Save.

How to change your Google account PIN:

  • Step 1: Open your Google Account on your mobile or system.
  • Step 2: You might need to sign in.
  • Step 3: Select Sign in to Google under Security
  • Step 4: Choose Google Account PIN. You might need to sign in again.
  • Step 5: Choose Change PIN.
  • Step 6: Choose a strong PIN, and follow the steps on the screen and select Save.

Here is when to use a PIN: You’ll be asked to use a Google Account PIN in different situations like:

  • When you have to approve purchases in Google Play.
  • When you need to send someone money in Google Pay.
  • When you set up a Roku box, you’ll use the PIN to add Google Play Movies & TV.
  • When you have to buy something from Google Play in Daydream.
