CM Nitish Kumar rolls out 50,000 jobs for doctors, nurses, and teachers ahead of Bihar Assembly Election

The Bihar police have also announced vacancies for various posts for which the applications will be applied from Sunday onwards.

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday announced 50,000 recruitment in government jobs ahead of the State Assembly Elections which is slated for October or November 2020.

As many as 4,997 nurses and 4,000 doctors will be appointed. Moreover, 4,000 university-college teachers and 250 sportspersons, who have given outstanding performances can also be appointed by the Bihar Government.

According to the CM, new rules are being framed for better service conditions of government teachers in the state and will be implemented shortly. These teachers will also be given the benefit of the Employees Provident Fund.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar announced this in his address from Gandhi Maidan on the occasion of 74th Independence. He said that the advertisement for the appointment of 33,916 teachers in the newly established higher secondary schools in gram panchayats will be issued soon.

The Bihar police have also rolled out vacancies for various posts for which the applications will be applied from Sunday onwards, CM added.

“If voted back to power, every agriculture field will get water,” Kumar said.

Nitish Kumar also announced a prize money worth Rs 5,000 to the COVID-19 recovered people who will or have donated plasma for patients treatment.

Saluting the efforts of doctors and corona warriors, Kumar said that like every state, Bihar is also facing the effect of the Covid-19 pandemic. “But we have left no stone unturned to contain it. Now we are testing 1.20 lakh, people, every day, adequate arrangements of beds and medicines have been made and a three-layer arrangement for treatment has been made,” he said and claimed that a huge change has taken place in the healthcare system in Bihar.

Meanwhile, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has stepped in to address the widening rift between its Bihar partners Janata Dal (United) and Lok Janshakti Party (LJP). Party sources said that Chirag in his rousing speech debunked speculations of his breaking ranks with the BJP-led NDA stressing that LJP’s loyalty to Prime Minister Narendra Modi was “deeper” than that of JD(U) helmed by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
