A notification has been issued by the Chief Ministers Office in Bihar that states the urgency of dealing with coronavirus. The Bihar Govt is aware of the threats the disease can possess, to deal it has enforced a lockdown till March 31. All district offices and administrative units will remain closed during the lockdown period. Only essential services will remain to operationalise during this period.

Services including grocery shops, petrol pumps, medicine stores will remain open. In the notification, the Govt has ordered the suspension of public vehicles, public and private offices.

It needs to be noted that COVID-19 has been increasing at a rapid pace in India. With 350 plus positive cases and 7 deaths including one from Bihar, it has caused havoc amidst public and governments. Bihar had two positive COVID-19 cases out of which one person returned from Saudi Arabia and he passed away.
