Former Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) president Sunil Jakhar, is likely to join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today in Delhi at 1.30 pm.
Jakhar has been in Delhi since he quit the Congress.
In a Facebook LIVE on Saturday, he said “Good luck and goodbye to Congress”. The Congress had last month removed him from all positions for alleged anti-party activities.
Jakhar earlier also blamed Channi for the Congress’s poor performance – comments that invited a show-cause notice from the party. He never replied to the notice, which also spoke about alleged ‘derogatory’ remarks against Channi.
