Indian Railways helpline number: Passengers on Indian Railways would appreciate having a single number to call for all enquiries and concerns. Instead of dialling multiple helplines for various concerns or services, passengers can now get answers to all of their questions by dialling “139.”

Passengers can also get help from the official website, [email protected], if they need it while travelling. As an example, consider medical aid. Rail Madad can also be accessed via the UMANG app.

With the exception of the “182” services, the Railways have combined all of its helplines under the single number “139” to facilitate the prompt resolution of customers’ questions and complaints while they are travelling. The number to call for assistance with thefts and other criminal incidents is “182.”

The following are the services offered:

-Train Complaint

Citizens can use the service to file a complaint or make suggestions for specific incident dates (the current date or the previous four dates). To file a complaint, a passenger should include the train number, followed by the Unreserved Ticketing System (UTS) number or PNR number, followed by the incident date.

-Complaint about the Station

Citizens can use the service to file a station-related complaint or recommendation for the selected incident date (current date or the previous four dates).

-Keep track of your complaint

By using the reference number, citizens can follow their submitted complaints about the train or station.

-Freight/Parcel Inquiry

The programme enables citizens to file an inquiry/complaint connected to Freight/Parcel inquiry for a specific incident date within 30 days of the occurrence date.
