Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the world’s longest river cruise, the MV Ganga Vilas, on Friday, covering a 3,200-kilometer journey from Varanasi to Dibrugarh via Bangladesh.

The cruise will visit 50 tourist destinations, including world heritage sites, national parks, river gorges, and major cities such as Patna, Bihar, Shahiganj, Jharkhand, Kolkata, West Bengal, Dhaka, Bangladesh, and Guwahati, Assam. The cruise will depart from Varanasi and travel to Patna, Sahibganj, Kolkata, Dhaka, Guwahati, and Dibrugarh before returning to Varanasi.
Price of MV Ganga Vilas Tickets
According to an IANS report, the journey will cost around Rs 13 lakh, with an average fare per person of around Rs 25,000 per night.

The MV Ganga Vilas vessel, which is 62 metres long, 12 metres wide, and sails comfortably with a draught of 1.4 metres, has three decks, 18 suites on board, and a capacity of 36 tourists, as well as all of the amenities to provide a memorable and luxurious experience for the tourists.
