In a shocking incident, a woman was branded with a hot iron rod in Bhubaneswar, when she rejected to have a physical relationship with her husband’s friend.
As per the reports, recently, husband of victim consumed liquor with one of his friends at home. Further, he told his wife to have sex with his friend. When she rejected, both her husband and friend thrashed her and branded her private part with a hot iron rod.
Later she was raped by her husband’s friend for many days and apparently her in-laws also had the knowledge of the incident, reports claimed. According to reports, the woman got married one-and-a-half years ago and after some days of marriage, she got to know that her husband was a transsexual and used to torture her regularly.
When the victim approached Chandaka police, officials allegedly tried to suppress the issue, reports claimed. Later the police arrested both the accused, however they were released soon.
