Officers Caught on Camera: A disturbing video has emerged on social media, which allegedly depicts Bihar police officials tossing the remains of an accident victim into a canal. The incident is said to have occurred in the state of Bihar. On Sunday, the incident occurred in the Muzaffarpur district of the state. A passerby-filmed video shows police officers using batons to force the body of the accident victim into the canal in the midst of a busy road.
Following the viral dissemination of the incident video on social media, the implicated police officers were taken into account. Police in Muzaffarpur stated that an investigation was initiated into the incident following the video’s online release.

Officers Caught on Camera Discarding Accident: Taking action against suspected police officers
According to Sahariyar Akhtar, the Deputy Superintendent of Police in east Muzaffarpur, the three officers captured on camera are presumed culpable and are undergoing the appropriate disciplinary measures. A police officer stated that the driver constable was suspended and that the contracts of two Home Guard jawans on duty were terminated.

According to the police, the tragedy was so severe that no victim body parts could be recovered. Police added that only those body parts that were beyond salvage were discarded by the officers. According to the senior police officer, salvageable body parts have been sent for postmortem examination, and the victim’s identity has not yet been determined.
A number of social media users disseminated the video on X, which was formerly Twitter, where they criticized the Bihar police for their “insensitive” behavior. A user commented on X, “Absolutely startling occurrence!”Absolute cruelty involving a corpse!” An additional individual remarked, “The Bihar Police’s behaviour in retrieving and disposing of the remains of a road accident victim in the canal is abhorrent.”
