President’s Bihar Visit: The visit of President Droupadi Murmu to Bihar is in its second day. She will be present at the Mahatma Gandhi Central University’s inaugural convocation event this morning in the East Champaran district’s Motihari. The university’s deserving students will receive degrees and medals from the president.
As the university celebrates the First Convocation Ceremony, Akashvani’s correspondent writes that the students at Mahatma Gandhi Central University, Motihari, are quite excited about the momentous day of their academic careers. 887 students who graduated from the institution in previous academic years will receive degrees and medals.

The President would travel back to Patna later in the day and attend the AIIMS Patna’s First Convocation Ceremony that evening. President Droupadi Murmu will meet with members of Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups in Rajbhavan in Patna following the event at AIIMS Patna.
The President will attend South Bihar Central University’s third convocation ceremony tomorrow, the final day of her tour, in Gaya. Tomorrow, she will also offer prayers at Bodhgaya’s renowned Mahabodhi Temple.
