Rs 12 Cr Vishu Bumper Lottery Winner Chooses Anonymity: The lottery department has reported that the winner of the Vishu bonanza lottery has withdrawn funds from a Kozhikode bank. The winner received the remaining Rs 7.58 crore from the Rs 12 crore reward money after deducting 10% from the agency commission and 30% for tax.

A native of Kozhikode won the lottery and informed the department of his desire to remain anonymous. The first prize was won by ticket number VE 475588, which was sold by the CKV Agency in Malappuram on May 24.
According to Lottery department regulations, the award money must be collected within one month of the drawing. He submitted it to the bank and completed the necessary procedures just days prior to the deadline’s expiration.
