In Kerela’s Kottayam an RSS member was arrested on the charges booked under various sections of the Indian Penal Code(IPC) for circulating a fake video with the intention of causing religious disharmony.
Vinod Rai, a contractor, allegedly edited a footage from the press conference of former Public Service Commission’ chairman K S Radhakrishnan on the Sabarimala case. Vinod posted the fake version of the video on his Facebook page by crediting the remarks to the Muslim League leader A Khader.

The original video was aired on Manorama News channel and after the video was circulated in social media, Malayala Manorama filed a complaint.
