The Bihar Board is all set to start the online application process for students to take admission to intermediate from July 8, 2020. The board will hold the registration via its Online Facilitation System for Students (OFSS).
The application process was due to start from July 1, 2020. The common prospectus for intermediate admission has also been released by the Board on June 29, 2020. Students are advised to download the prospectus to understand the admission process.
Important details related to the application process:
Students need to have an email id and their mobile number to fill the application form. Students who have cleared their Class 10 board exam from Bihar board will need to provide their roll number along with their date of birth.
Once the completion of the application procedure, the board will prepare a merit list on the basis of options entered and their merit in the qualifying exam.
There is also a ‘slide up’ option for students. If a student is allotted a seat in the first/second list, they can take admission and then opt for ‘Slide Up’ option and if they are allocated a seat in one of the better institutes in subsequent rounds of allotment, their admission according to the previous list will be cancelled automatically.
The Board has also published OFSS app that can be downloaded from the Google Play Store.
