Bihar Garment Units: The meeting was presided over by KM Subramanian, president of the Tiruppur Exporters Association (TEA), Rajeev Ranjan, additional CEO of BSDM, Sanjay Kumar, director of BSDM, and R Giridharan, managing director of Tamil Nadu Apex Skill Development Council.

The RTD concept, according to the team, has assisted Bihar youth in finding employment. Sources claim that the RTD model is a highly integrated system that provides workers in Bihar with proper training so they may be quickly placed in the textile business.

“Over 50,000 workers from Bihar are currently employed in the garment industry in Tiruppur district,” Rajeev Ranjan stated during his presentation at the conference. The Tiruppur enterprises only need to provide us with the specifications and technical requirements. Trainers and developers at our skill centres are very effective. They assist business owners in lowering internal recruitment and training costs.

According to KM Subramanian, president of the Tiruppur Exporters Association (TEA), “We welcome the expert delegation from Bihar to visit the garment sector in Tiruppur city. We hardly ever distinguish between northern and southern India, save from a few minor difficulties.

Under the Recruit-Train-Deploy (RTD) system, which was created as part of the Bihar Skill Development Mission (BSDM), skill centres in Bihar train people before sending them to businesses in accordance with their skill sets.
