COVID19 Scare: Foreigner found exhausted in Kollam railway station, shifted to hospital

Kollam: The scare of coronavirus has been at an all-time high, screening processes are being done at airports on a regular basis. Amidst such maintenance of precautionary measures, a woman was found exhausted at Kollam railway station.

A foreigner, who reached Kollam railway station in Kerala Express has been sent to the Parippally Medical College.

As per information from sources, the woman boarded her train from Thrissur, got down at Kollam railway station and then she got exhausted. After a medical check done on her, it was found out that she was running 100-degree temperature.

A medical team from Parippally Medical College came to the station to take the woman to the hospital.

The foreigner wanted to go to Mata Amritanandamayi Math at Paryakadavu in Kollam.

The novel coronavirus infected lot has increased to 24 in Kerala, three new cases reported on Monday late evening.

Two people from Malappuram district recently arrived from Saudi Arabia, and another person from Kasargod district, with a travel history to Dubai, has been tested positive.

A total of 12740 people are under observation of whom 270 are admitted in hospitals. With more non-resident Keralites arriving from foreign countries, more persons are being quarantined every day. A total of 2297 samples were sent for testing among which 1693 samples tested negative.
