Delhi double murder: Tailor confesses of killing fashion designer Mala Lakhani

In the recent updates to Mala Lakhani’s murder case, it is being reported that Rahul Anwar, one of Mala Lakhani’s employee, has confessed of killing the Delhi based fashion designer.

Anwar, a tailor employed by Lakhani worked in a workshop in her home. He confessed that Lakhani hadn’t paid his dues, in the avenge of which, he murdered her.

Anwar went to the workshop at around 11 pm Wednesday. He called Lakhani and told her he had some clothes to show her. When she came, he killed her with the help of two of his friends. When she screamed, Bahadur came running and confronted the attackers. He, too, was killed.

The three suspects left Lakhani’s home in her car, and took some of her stuff with them. Then, incredibly, they surrendered to the police, and told them they’d made a mistake.

The duo were stabbed to death on Thursday morning at around 3 AM at the Vasant Kunj residence. Their were sent for the post-mortem when recovered by the police.

The police investigation is still in progress. CCTV footage is being reviewed.
