A terrible incident happened where a nine-year-old was raped by an HIV positive person in Surat. The 35-year-old man is the neighbour of the girl and is also tailor by profession. On the pretext of taking the measurement, he called the girl to his shop and raped her.
The police have registered a case under the POSCO act and have also arrested the accused. The accused is a married man and has two children. According to a report by a newspaper, the man is HIV positive for a few years.
On the day of the incident, the man called the girl on the pretext of taking her measurement and showed her porn videos. When the girl disagreed to watch the videos, he raped her. Not only this, but the accused also threatened to kill her if she opened her mouth. The girl was scared and kept quiet.
The victim remained quite but finally broke down after two days upon returning from the school. When her mother asked her and took her in confidence she narrated the whole incident.
After the girl narrated the incident, the girl’s family members filed a complaint against him immediately and the accused was arrested. During the investigation, the accused told the police that he was HIV Positive.
Earlier also such incidents have been reported where a person with HIV positive problem has indulged in rape cases.
