Three Sisters’ Suicide in Ghaziabad:Three minor sisters in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, died by suicide on February 4, 2026, after allegedly jumping from the ninth floor of their residential building in Bharat City Society. The girls, Nishika (16), Prachi (14), and Pakhi (12) left behind a haunting suicide note that read, “Sorry Papa… Korea is our life,” highlighting their intense attachment to a Korean task-based online.

The entire three sisterhoods from their home ninth-floor balcony in their home at approximately 2:15 a.m.when loud noises disturbed the neighbors and residents of the area. Police and emergency responders arrived at the scene where medical personnel transported the girls to Loni hospital.
What Is the “Korean Love Game”?
Police and investigators have identified the game as a Korean-based task-based online game which they access through official reports. The app provides players with a series of tasks which they must complete in order to progress through the game from basic tasks until they reach its ultimate objective which involves dangerous tasks with psychological manipulation elements.
The game requires players to complete 50 tasks according to initial reports with its final task approaching self-harm and suicide which resembles the Blue Whale Challenge because both challenges use task-based psychological manipulation.
Family Concerns
The sisters became dedicated players of the game during the COVID-19 pandemic because according to police and their family members which had increased screen time for most children. The girls who used Korean names disclosed their school dropouts because they had become adept at online content and Korean culture which the game presented to them.
Their father, Chetan Kumar, expressed shock over the situation, stating he was unaware of the true nature of the games his daughters were playing. In interviews, he shared that he thought they were simply playing harmless mobile games and had no idea that the content might escalate into dangerous or harmful tasks.
Diary and Suicide Note Reveal

The investigators found a suicide note together with handwritten diary pages which they recovered from the sisters’ room. The sisters used desperate and emotional language to express their feelings through their suicide note which included the phrases “Korea is our life” and “Sorry Papa.”

The family members and local officials described themselves as reserved people while the neighbors showed astonishment about the girls’ decision to take their own lives. The incident has raised questions about how such games reached the children and how their behavior went unnoticed or unmoderated for so long.
Police Response and Ongoing Investigation
The police together with cyber forensic units are currently conducting an examination of the sisters’ mobile devices and their digital activities and application usage records to identify the game origins and its operational features.
DCP Trans-Hindon, Nimish Patil, said that they found a suicide note in which no particular app was named, but it was clear that the three girls were influenced by Korean culture.
Assistant Commissioner of Police (Shalimar Garden) Atul Kumar Singh said preliminary investigation suggests that the parents had objected to the girls’ continuous gaming. “The three did everything together – from bathing, eating and sleeping to going to school,” the ACP said, as quoted by PTI.
