According to the police, criminals shot and injured a resident of Driver Tola, which is located in the Katihar district’s Nagar police station area. The doctors declared him dead after he was taken to the hospital for treatment. Police officials said in a statement that a criminal involved in the incident had been arrested with four weapons and raids were being conducted to arrest others. The Superintendent of Police in Katihar is looking into the case.
On February 29, the Punjab Police Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) arrested one person involved in the recent shooting incident at Katani Premium Dhaba, Sector 79, Mohali. According to Punjab Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav, preliminary interrogation of the arrested accused has revealed the identity of two other absconding accused Rana and Arshjot involved in the incident. According to him, the absconding two accused will be arrested in the near future. In this incident, the Haryana Police have arrested the fourth accused, Feroz.
He has been identified as Amritpal Singh alias Nannu, an associate of the Davinder Bambiha Gang. As directed by absconding Gangster Gaurav alias Lucky Patiyal of the Davinder Bambiha Gang, these handlers carried out the crime in order to extract ransom money from the victim.
