KKR IPL 2023 Retention: The Men in Purple have officially traded for and re-signed Gujarat Titans ace pacer Lockie Ferguson. The biggest name missing from KKR’s roster, however, is Pat Cummins. The Australian captain has decided to withdraw from the IPL 2023.
KKR has already acquired Afghanistan wicketkeeper-batsman Rahmanullah Gurbaz. Aside from that, Aaron Finch and Ajinkya Rahane are both scheduled to be released.
As many as 16 players were released from the KKR roster, while three were brought in through trades. Pat Cummins, Alex Hales, and Sam Billings have decided not to play in the IPL 2023, while KKR has decided to part ways with Aaron Finch and Mohammad Nabi. Among the most notable Indian exclusions were Ajinkya Rahane and Shivam Mavi.
